The first one I bought was NOT waterproof - I was wading a 3 year old, picked him out of the water and later in the day it evaporated. So I re-read the description that it is water resistant to 50m and tried again. Shower with it and it was good. It was difficult to sync with both the first time - without data to sync it won't pick up right away, so take a stroll and then try. Make sure Bluetooth is turned on and try again if that fails. You can set a step goal to push yourself to reach a certain activity level each day. I really wish, with the Garmin name, that it actually had a GPS to track my mileage like my phone does. A smaller face on a woman's wrist would also be a good option. I have a hard time falling asleep in this bandage, I wake up with pain in my tendons. Since it's new and I think the sleep tracking is cool, I put it loosely on my other hand when I sleep, take it off when I shower, and transfer it to my right hand during the day. I bought the white sport version and bought the blue band thinking the white gets dirty pretty quickly. It's only been a week, so no dates yet. The extra strap is only $7 at Revain, so it's fine.
