I bought the first unit, which was the original sealer. It worked awesome for about half a year, and a half. No wet food option, but it worked well with steaks, and food i wanted to put in the freezer. Then one day, all of a sudden it stopped working. Wouldn’t power up, nothing.I contacted customer service, and they offered me a discount off a new unit, which I thought was very fair as I used mine for a while without issue. I figured the new one would last, and not have any issues.So I got the 208, which has the "wet button” feature. I tried sealing up some homemade dog food, and as you can see in the video is not super wet. The unit would suck all the moisture up into the sealer, which would not allow it to get hot enough to seal the bag. Just a sloppy mess, with whatever moisture was in the food, everywhere. This was in the first week of purchasing it.I contacted customer service again, and got completely ghosted. No email back. No response. I bought the insurance this time, so hopefully that takes care of the issue. But as it is now, I would not purchase the unit again. 1st one broke, and 2nd one didn’t do what it stated it would do, which is frustrating. I even specifically asked if I should have problems, as I would rather have spent more, than get a discount off a unit that would break again. I was assured it wouldn’t be an issue.You live and you learn i guess.
