Two out of five were bad. I traced it with an ohmmeter and found that I had no circuit from at least one wire on each of the two failed sockets to the pins in this connector. Sometimes it was possible to get a chain by putting the wires in the connector, but I need a very reliable connector where they enter my RV. The plastic parts of the plug appear to be well made and the seal is very strong and seems to keep out dust and moisture very well, but what's the point if the electrical connection is broken. The two that work I added glue to the ends where the wires enter the connector, hoping it would keep those two from failing like the first two.
