Does what is intended.

I was skeptical about these headphones when I first bought them. After using them all day for a few days I feel it's time to write a review. Headphones work as expected. These are combo noise canceling headphones. Most people looking at them probably work where hearing protection is required/recommended, but not for music. These headphones are perfect for that. They are incognito and look like regular earbuds but play music. I walked them down the hall without stopping and nobody blinked. So how far does it go +. The noise cancellation is more than adequate. I have machines that run close to 100dB. I need to hear when it stops, but I also don't want my eardrums to explode. They get a five for that. Won't isolate noise completely, but will be ok. When the music is about halfway through, almost all of the noise goes away. For that reason I usually keep them pretty low just in case someone needs to get my attention or I need to tend to the car. If I crank the volume all the way up, I probably can't hear the jackhammer more than a meter away from me. So you don't have the sound quality of the Beats. They're equivalent to a pair of $20 headphones. Not bad, but nothing special either, but when I bought them I wasn't looking for superior sound, I was looking for something that would reduce noise and allow me to listen to music discreetly. If that describes your situation, you're in luck. I also bought several wired headphones from the same company. I liked the concept and was about to write a review that I wish I had a Bluetooth option when I found this. Trust me it's worth the extra $25 to upgrade to them. The final plus of these headphones is that they have a counterpoise on the other end. At first I wasn't sure what it was for, but after swearing at them a bit I figured out what they were. I've used bluetooth headphones before and the biggest problem is that the mic/charger part always loads the other end. The counterweight prevents this and a great idea from the manufacturer. A If these last 3 months, they are worth it in my eyes. Anything else is a win.
