Mine didn't work properly
Not sure if this is fake or the original. There were issues with the ppm reduction and it wasn't reduced. It looked like the original but I ended up replacing it with Watts.com. I had some other issues and had to replace parts so I'm not sure if this filter is the problem or not. UPDATE: Replaced with new Filmtec cone and new cone housing. These power supplies are not fake. The one from Amazon and the one produced directly by Watts have exactly the same filtering. Max = 80% error. Watts: 860 ppm tap water, reverse osmosis membrane 180 ppm. New Filmtec" 860ppm tap water, RO membrane 50ppm Very disappointed with Watts units. Not returnable. New Watts units: Tap water 17ppm Nitrate after RO membrane 15ppm New Filmtec: Tap water 17ppm after RO membrane 5 ppm sodon Don't bother to replace all the valves and other things, just change the brand of reverse osmosis membrane.
- This reverse osmosis membrane has a check valve built right into the membrane to work effectively when replacing this important component on a regular basis
