Review on ๐Ÿ”ช CEVENT Stainless Steel Meat Tenderizer Tool - Metal Blades for Chef, Kitchen Partner - Meat Pounder (White) by Alan Singh

Good Block Overall: Meat Tenderizer

This meat tenderizer can be used both as a pure meat tenderizer and as a meat tenderizer and sauce injector. Initially I had some problems with the quality of the product but over time they were overcome. The meat tenderizer has 30 sharp blades that cut into the meat with every pressure on the device. Three of these blades are used to inject the sauce into the meat if desired. The blades are firm, but there's a protective cover that retracts with every squeeze. This guard has three selectable positions: locked, half depth and full depth. You can set the desired cutting depth of the meat. The first issue I had was that the adjustment slider was extremely difficult to adjust. Even my husband struggled to adjust the settings. For some reason, after the first use of the device, the adjustment slider began to work without any problems. For tenderizing only, simply adjust the slider to the desired depth, then squeeze the handle to make incisions in the meat. To soften and inject the sauce, remove the plunger and fill the reservoir with sauce. Be sure to filter the sauce if necessary to avoid clogging the injectors. After the above process, push the device into the meat and then SLIGHTLY press the plunger while pulling it out to inject the sauce. DO NOT push the plunger firmly. The device does not inject the sauce into the meat tissue itself, but into the holes created by the injector nozzles. If you insert the device and press hard on the plunger, the sauce squirts out of the meat. The second issue I had was that the first time I used the device, the sauce would flow out of the cylinder when the plunger was pushed. I removed the cylinder and found that there is an o-ring that seals the cylinder to the softener body to prevent leakage. I moved the o-ring and put the cylinder back in place. Now it doesn't flow. On first inspection I found an oily cylinder and thought the unit was used or poorly cleaned from the factory. However, the manual mentions that the plasticizer plunger is coated with vegetable oil to keep the rubber plunger flexible. It is recommended to apply a thin layer of vegetable oil to the plunger after cleaning. Overall, this fabric softener does what it's supposed to do, but there are a few issues the manufacturer needs to address.
