Easy to program and both bases ring loudly when programmed to the loudest setting. Lots of ringtone choices but I'm not going through all 50+ choices. Standard doorbell chimes work for me. Nice range of 75 feet per doorbell/base. Here's MY particular issue: The base for the back doorbell is in the living room - obviously so it can be heard. It is programmed with its ring chime. The base for the front doorbell is also in the living room - the two bases are about 15 feet apart in different outlets. BOTH bases will play their chime when EITHER doorbell is pushed. I could move the back doorbell's base to a different outlet, but then it's in the utility room and that door stays closed so it won't be heard. That's just the way my old, historic house is laid out.not the company's fault. Plus, I have a senior citizen parent living with me that blasts the TV to the point of it being heard in the next state, so I need the back doorbell's base to be where I have a chance of hearing it. I still give the product 5 stars and would recommend this product.
