Review on πŸš— CUSIYU Tesla Model Y 2020 2021 Mud Flaps: Front and Rear Mudguards for 2020 2021 Tesla Model Y, Splash Guards and Fender Mudflaps - Tesla Model Y Accessories by Adam Jackson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

EASY INSTALLATION WAS VERY DIFFICULT TO INSTALL

When I bought a new one it will be primed in a few days then I bought the same items from Revain warehouse and they arrived the next day . Unfortunately they came with 6 rivet pins instead of 8. The headpins are about 2.5 times longer than the headpins I removed from my Tesla Y. I had trouble finding pins of the same size at local car dealerships. I bought another set from Revain inventory as they have several open boxes and they arrived the next day. They come with 8 rivet pins, but the pins are shorter and about 1.5 times longer than the original. I started the installation, the two rear valves are easy because I used long rivets (2.5 times longer than the original pin). I mounted front left with long rivets and it was easy to mount. Now the long pins are gone. I've used pins 1.5 times longer than the original and those pins didn't work. I tried to press really hard but the pen wouldn't go in. I suspected the pins were too short after 30 minutes of testing. Went to the car zone twice until I found the right ones. My suspicion was correct, the contacts were too short. The mudflaps are nice and strong but assembly was made difficult because the manufacturer did not recall the parts with short rivets otherwise the product is 5 stars. If you received parts with short rivets about 1.5 times longer than the original Y-Tesla pins, do not proceed with the installation, "don't waste your time". Return the item. I changed the 2 stars to 4 stars because the quality of these valves is good and they look good on my car.
