Review on Airhawk - R-REVB Large Motorcycle Seat Cushion for Comfortable Travel - Optimized for Improved Comfort and Size by Anthony Heinrichs

If you don't notice it, you know it's working properly.

Works very well. I use this on a standard R1200GS/Adventure seat. Be sure to take this pillow, inflate it, and then sit on a hard chair, such as a chair. B. a wooden chair. Open the valve and reduce the airflow until you feel your sit bones just touch the hard wood of the chair. This will get you exactly where it belongs. The idea isn't to sit high on a tightly inflated bladder, but to fill in the hot spots where your sit bones meet the seat. Using the least amount of air needed to offset those hot spots provides a flatter footing, and this is where the real benefit of this seat cushion comes in. You shouldn't feel the cushion too much, it should fit perfectly into the seat. If it's adjusted correctly, you won't feel the cushion, you just notice that your butt doesn't burn after 2 hours of driving. You don't have to think about contact with the saddle while riding. The only downside is that the elastic straps at the connection to the case aren't the strongest. After just a few hundred kilometers of driving, the rear hinge ripped off mine. I have not called to ask about the cover replacement.
