So this ring isn't really too big. If you're getting this because you cut your hole a little bit or a little out of place and you need to cover up your cutting error or part of the wrong cut. . . Not. It's not oversized in that sense. It looks more like a regular sized ring for a 6 inch hole. Maybe I shouldn't have bought lighting parts from a company called Jet Ski Parts & JSP Manufacturing. Mine is also out of range but I tried to return the item today 36 days from the date of purchase. Jet ski parts refused return due to 6 days elapsed from 30 day policy. I mean if it was a few months or a few months but 6 days? Indeed, what are they? Throw it back on the shelf next to the water pump or emergency switch and wait for the next customer to come. I would keep shopping.
