I'm one of those who sew 6-10 hours 7 days a week. I have several very expensive cars that I use every day. I bought this machine thinking it was made in America, it was very light and the price was good for a machine that I could use at sewing events for a few hours a month. I was very disappointed to learn that the car was made in China. The stitches are good, but the process is more complicated than necessary to change the width and length. The machine is perfect for child or new sewers. The car may be quiet, but it sounds cheap. Machine parts are also thin. I would be afraid to use this for some of the stitches I make.
