Most of the options my Impala has shouldn't matter, but some people seem to think so. Incorrect neck length for dashboard depth GM "A" body 1968 Impala, 3 prongs circumferentially rotated 180 degrees from original, this one has no dome light, plastic "D" guide is offset 90 degrees in neck. The black "D" alignment tab at the bottom of the well prevents the cylinder from sitting in the derailleur at all. The only thing "right" is the 7-pin electrical contacts, compared to the 5 normally found in this style and era of switches, but of no use unless you replace the corresponding ignition cylinder at the same time . Too bad because the piece seems to be well put together like my original.
