Review on DuraGo 29515058 Front Wheel Hub Assembly by Bishnu Bush

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Feels bulletproof and high quality, just buy a large pry bar because you're going to need it for the job

I had a squeaking noise that sounded like a serpentine belt or pulley bearing issues that I couldn't understand prickly , and after I replaced the engine pulleys with quality aftermarket belts as well as heavy-duty belts, the creaking was still there, but I happened to be bending down to pick something up as my wife started driving the Hummer away from the driveway, I heard that Noise was coming from the rider's front wheel, and I thought the bearing was a good start, so here I am Amazon. The selection was huge as was the price ranges from $30 to about $200, after reading all the reviews and guarantees information on them all and the manufacturer's reputation and all that stuff and went with it, the price was good but no cheap crap low price but not overpriced "super stock" hyip price range like ed until i got it the next day, a review or two recommended a good breaker and i already had a good idea i would need it so I ordered it and the bushing too, which The hardest part of the install is preparing the car for safety, jacking it up and putting it on stands (you'll be applying a lot of torque to the hub assembly to loosen some of those nuts and bolts, which means that you can push the car off the jack and foot or arm or worse so jack stands are a good precaution and safety measure) along with e in a jack. Removing the wheel, calipers and disc from the old hub and bearing assembly was fairly easy, but the old setup's nuts and bolts were quite strong and this is where the big breaker came in handy. A 1/2 inch drive breaker, which was definitely needed but too long to work in the wheel well with limited space, was a bottleneck despite being a full size Hummer H2. You should try to remember the accepted order when disassembled and what everything looked like before disassembly, after taking everything apart I cleaned everything pretty well and started fitting a new hub and bearing assembly, first slipped it just not on the spindle, the boot wasn't a problem as some others have said? Mine was easy to put on and so is yours when you put it back in the same position it was put down? Anyway I even tried tapping it lightly with a ball head hammer which didn't help, then I turned it slightly to the right and it slid slightly to the right, after that I put everything together and turned for about five to ten minutes, then the tire put it back on and tightened everything up after that i called my wife to give it a spin for a quick spin and crossed our fingers we could tell straight away the problem was fixed even the micro peep woohoo dot dot period it was perfectly quiet just like it was then it was new now i think next month i will build a passenger and in another month i will build a rear assembly and then my baby will have new bearings all around i mean because of these prices and quality i would use the product again in a second because i believe the quality of this product is very good and that it will last a long time so everyone with a wants a loud n Replace the wheel bearing. then it's a good option, everything went smooth and has a nice firm feel and it feels very heavy and is as good or better than the original i took off and the bearing doesn't wobble or have any play and it's quiet when you turn hub. The bearing feels smooth yet firm when I removed the old bearing and hub assembly. It spins with little to no resistance and makes a rattling noise while the new one doesn't and after some concern that other drivers will hear the noise and say what the heck is the car, I can now proudly own my Hummer again drive because he's too beautiful to sound ugly,
