This radio is an interesting product; Radio, flashlight and security light. The radio part is a very reliable AM/FM/WB radio, powered by batteries, crank, solar or USB plug. The sound quality of the radio is very good for a radio of this size and price; The tuning knob is a little too sensitive, but the radio works well. The Weather section is very helpful for those of us who live where the weather changes quickly and can be dangerous. I tested the flashlight at night and found it to be quite powerful and able to see objects quite a distance away. Alternative power sources work. Spring; The solar panel charges two lithium batteries within two hours. The handle works with 5 or 6 handles and the USB port charges the batteries for two hours after a 50% charge. I found the proximity indicator (under the solar panels) to be an odd accessory, but it works and can be handy. for those who rest at night and worry about the approach of living beings. Overall I found this product very useful. I have it in my van and it has become my favorite radio to listen to occasionally and to check the weather band for inclement weather. Great product at a great price.
