I was so excited to get it but after trying it my excitement went away. The loud stations drifted and didn't stay focused. I took out the old one that I wanted to compare, it turned out to be better. PLUS MY OLD ONE is a pink Philco that uses tubes and sounds better on stations but it's AM only. I was going to give this new unit as a gift, but I sent it back. It didn't work well at all. Plus just the added note, the sound is mediocre. Although the return is hassle-free. My advice is to keep looking if you are in the market for one.
