used this as a positive for gum casts (haven't gotten to it yet). but I've used it for attaching components to circuit boards (it's not designed for that) but it worked fine for holding it in place by soldering at a few points. IT WILL MELT IF YOU HOLD IT THERE ALL THE TIME. I used it as a resin cast; it worked. but the resin did not harden; Again, not a bad opinion of the product as it's not meant for that, I've only tried it for a giggle. Definitely a good buy. Update (another "not meant for this" but it worked): Just tried it with homemade candles, worked great; used as a seal between a tin cylinder and glass, then the cylinder is filled with paraffin. no wax comes out and the tube has not moved.
