Great value for money - just what I expected

I use this for positioning and arranging small items on photo shoots. It's flexible yet stiff enough to hold things without sagging too much. It won't mark vinyl backings and while it's not brilliant white, it's unnoticeable even in bright light. So far it doesn't stick to any surface.

Pros
  • Many will fit
Cons
  • Expensive

Buyer beware, good clay

the clay was soft and easy to work with, however the small print indicated that it was a non-drying clay. I didn't find out about this until I used it and found that it doesn't dry the air. I have no idea how to use this item and if anyone can give me useful ideas, at the moment I have a whole block of clay hidden and I can't use it at all.

Used to simulate a wound for nursing CPNE

Good job. I modeled the usually complex triangle and used acrylic paint to blend and illustrate the wound. After drying, apply a large amount of liquid latex, which will become transparent and ready after drying. The ONLY downside to this clay is one of its strong points: it never dries out. This means that the shape of my wound can change if I'm not careful when changing the dressing. Then again, I have to be careful with a real wound anyway, so consider that aspect as another level of…

Best clay I've tried

The first thing I noticed when I removed the plastic wrap was the pleasant smell of this clay - I would describe it as faint but sweet, like a birthday cake. Its texture and malleability make it very easy to work with as it hardens when cooled and softens when heated. The label states that it contains no sulfur, making this clay ideal for use with RTV-type silicone rubber for mold making (Sulphurous clay has an unpleasant odor and interferes with the curing of RTV rubber). I will definitely buy

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Never dries, softens easily and is a bonus. Smells like vanilla!

I bought this putty because our Cranium game comes with Play-Doh putty that crumbles into dust once you open it. pleasant vanilla aroma. An unexpected but nice bonus. It is quite hard when cold, but quickly softens and becomes more pliable after processing. Clay is mineral based but also contains petroleum additives so water is not needed to prevent drying out. 2 pounds isn't much so pay attention to the measurements (3" x 5" x 2.5") and I would only buy what you need, even if it doesn't dry…

Offended and still ready to use

used this as a positive for gum casts (haven't gotten to it yet). but I've used it for attaching components to circuit boards (it's not designed for that) but it worked fine for holding it in place by soldering at a few points. IT WILL MELT IF YOU HOLD IT THERE ALL THE TIME. I used it as a resin cast; it worked. but the resin did not harden; Again, not a bad opinion of the product as it's not meant for that, I've only tried it for a giggle. Definitely a good buy. Update (another "not meant for…
