Jeep JL Stock FAD Removal
Great option to remove/replace the OEM Jeep JL Rubicon FAD 2 piece axle. You can reuse a standard U-piece if it is in good condition and has been properly removed. Otherwise, you can use Spicer 5-7166X 1350 series gimbal kit. I ordered a new U-joint, didn't need to use it, so now I have a spare. A CAVFAB #CF09089 FAD Removal Plate was also used to cover the drive bore. The Jl front axle was set to 14 JK so I didn't have to flash the computer.
