This step drill is very difficult to use when cutting holes in thin metal. I recommend drilling a pilot hole first to ensure the step drill is set correctly; Otherwise, the step drill bit is likely to wobble or move. The step drill tends to jam and twitch when drilling. This problem can be solved by placing the object to be drilled on a hard surface or by gripping the object to be drilled very strongly. After a single use, the drill bit becomes dull and cannot easily be used to drill the next hole in future projects. I had to use a small drill with metal cutting and grinding attachments to get the correct diameter and roundness for the hole. The stepper bit only works once if you are careful. Update: The seller is very good at making your purchase positive. However, the offer to refund my money seems to go against the whole concept of reviews. I appreciated the offer.
