Review on 🧀 Griot's Garage 10268 Microfiber Wash Mitts (Set of 2): Ultimate Solution for Car Cleaning by Kyle Herrera

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Easy to clean, this product pays for itself

KEY POINTS: Quality: 5/5 (for the price) Value: 5/5 Function: 4/5 (too chic to clean efficiently and effectively sanding off dirty cars) Durability: 5/5 (still feels new after a few months) PERFORMANCE ON VEHICLE PAINT: This is a softer type of wash mitt, meaning I wouldn't use it on a dirty truck with all of these would use pieces of garbage. If you want something that is soft, can hold a lot of suds and is easy to clean, then this product pays for itself. It is very soft to the paint. No matter how thick it is, it grabs and holds the "dirt" on the car, but doesn't press that dirt onto the paintwork. It gives me confidence when I wash my car. Other wash mitts that are less "plush" and have a fairly flat surface will push in any dirt that gets into your paint (if that makes sense). local autozone or orreils but they are less thick. I've tried them and found that the density and number of "strands" per inch is much less (similar to counting bristles per inch on brushes). They cost $4 to $5, but the cheaper versions don't work relative to their price. The Griot Garage 10268 Microfiber Chenille Wash Mitt is better because it lasts longer and performs better than its price, even compared to its cheaper counterparts. about alternatives at the same price? Currently, ChemicalGys offers the same product at roughly the same price. Are they better or the same for the same price? I don't know because I haven't tried them. I didn't have to buy them from them because the 2 gloves I have now have lasted months, been through many washes and many cars.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
