Revised and downgraded to 1 star. Upon completion I decided to make another one as a gift BUT I had to return TWICE because the template was too easy to use. 1. Review: I'm lucky - I have some experience and plan, together with the help from the internet, to complete this project. The instructions are pretty awful and some don't make sense like "sew with a straight needle" and what is "backing"? The pattern is cute so I'll be patient. For beginners, there are some really great YouTube videos on basic embroidery stitches (and some not-so-great ones). Embroidery for Beginners by LoveCrafts isn't bad. But it was pretty well received and I plan on making it again as a gift.
