This is my dog's second Chilly Dog sweater because her original sweater needed a wash, it's winter, the floors are cold and she is old and shivering without it. This one is just as gorgeous, again made from natural wool. It's less stretchy than her 5 year old sweater, but I'm sure it was less stretchy when it was new. These are wonderful, high quality sweaters, long, soft and warm, made from virgin real wool, much warmer than knitted acrylic or fleece. After 5 years, my dog's first sweater was even softer, but it didn't even need to be repaired. moth repellent. I was hoping it would go away after washing in Eucalan, but it didn't. Maybe the baby shampoo will wash it completely, but now the weather is too harsh to wash it again - there is no sun to dry it. I doubt most buyers will be that concerned about this. (Now I have to turn the world upside down to find a really old-fashioned formula for mothballs that I don't have, so I probably have moths now.) If she and I live long enough that she needs more than two warm sweaters and if baby shampoo or something stronger or more days in the sun manages to get rid of the smell from it I will definitely be buying from Chilly Dog again. for their highly qualified and attentive approach.
