Pulled out the backpack during the first ride and after 5 minutes of riding the drinking valve fell apart. It has a locking mechanism that you can push to lock and pull to unlock, but it doesn't take much effort to accidentally pull it out all the way and drop it on the ground while driving. Luckily I managed to find him and he didn't fly into the bushes along the way but was covered in dirt and countless germs. Needless to say, the hydration pouch and bite valve were useless and deflated until the pressure equalized. As a result, I drove the whole ride and drank 500ml of water. The hose also easily detaches from the left shoulder clip, leaving it often dangling while riding. I have to figure out the best way to secure it for my next ride and be careful with the bite valve locking mechanism. It works, but in my opinion it's just not very well designed. The canvas pack itself is great, it fits all my riding gear including multi tool, tire levers, chain links, inner tube, car keys, wallet, cell phone and snacks.
