I was really hoping that this would be the answer to my problem with light silver/grey hair with dark roots but unfortunately this product didn't solve my problem . dark roots in general. I really couldn't tell I even put it on other than my hair feeling powdery afterwards. I have also found that it is impossible to put the cap on the brush without bending and damaging the brush. The product had many pigments. So if you start with blonde/dirty blonde roots it will probably work pretty well, but I have dark brown roots.
