Review on NETGEAR Orbi Pro Tri-Band Mesh WiFi System (SRK60B03) - Router & Extender Replacement, Expandable to 7,500 sq. ft., 3 Pack, 3Gbps Speed Router & 2 Satellites by Michael Willis

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Complete junk that will kill your wired and Wi-Fi network

NETGEAR Orbi Satellite (2 pack) - no WiFi dead zones, easy setup, one network name, works with Revain Alexa, adds up to 5000m² added. ft., (option only) NETGEAR RBS52Orbi Pro - AC3000 Tri-Band Business WiFi System, 3-pack, Covers up to 7,500 m². ft., replaces access points, requires no complex cabling, business traffic, and no network disconnect (SRK60+SRS60) ft indoors, 2500 sq. ft. ft. outdoor, tri-band AC3000, single SSID (SRK60 + RBS50Y + SRS60) I've had issues since install - months later I'm still having issues with tech support sending a 'replacement' unit that also failed. The device randomly reboots, freezes and blocks your network - but importantly it affects not only your WiFi, but also a wired network. Extremely unreliable and the tech support is an absolute nightmare spending HOURS online talking to someone and when you do they can't help but tell you they need to move you to support level 2 , but they can't. Promise to call back, which never happens. No direct number to call level 2 support which means you have to spend 20-40 minutes each time you call level 1 support and then hope they route you to the right department - 4 attempts per Phone call. No confirmation of issue from Netgear - just look at support forum Netgearcommunity<DOT>netgear<dot>.com/t5/Orbi/EVERYTHING-is-broken-after-V2-1-1-12/mp/1453747# M17385 as one of the examples of many threads on this issue. It might work for some people, but do you want to roll the dice and end up with a $750 brick they don't want to take? This is not a false signal problem as it is not related to WiFi - this is a fundamental problem in a wired network. about how much you and your household/business/family depend on the network - not only for the internet, but also for security cameras, telephone, printing. Then imagine losing access to all of this for a few days as the device reboots and everything stops. No reboot fixes this and you're completely stuck. You can then spend hours talking to "support" call centers who can't help you and can't connect you to anyone who can, all the while your network is down.
