Review on Suburban 520814 Module Board by Bryan Reed

My RV is less than a year old and the water heater has stopped working. I have a suburban sw6d propane heater. The igniter did not ignite a spark. I first tried changing the lighter but it didn't help. Then I replaced the circuit board and it works again! Update: The new board failed after about 7 months. In those 7 months I was only able to turn on the water heater 20 times. These boards appear to be defective. It took a long time to light the water heater. It then ignited but shut off the water heater after a few minutes. Sometimes it would ignite, but I could hear the igniter sparking like it was still trying to ignite. Shortly thereafter, the detonator did not even fire. I've since replaced it with a UIB S board from Dinosar Electronics, which fixed my problems. Let's see how long this one lasts.
