I was camping and suddenly the DSI FLT light came on. I decided to search the internet and forums and found out that it was probably the control board. My control board is very easy to access so I checked it and there was a burned spot on the back so I knew it was bad. This one arrived in 2 days it's a bit different than the original but I plugged it in and now we have hot water which is great as we're only home for 5 days and then back, delivery is on Sunday fantastic, thanks to the seller…

If they haven't fixed them, these boards are almost all faulty.

Please do not buy this board. Find and use a compatible board from Dinosaur Electronics. A board that got caught in the local waters when I bought my caravan burned through after just 2 weeks. Had it been replaced by a dealer with the same Suburban 520814 board, it would have blown in 3 days. Stopped working after 7 months.

My RV is less than a year old and the water heater has stopped working. I have a suburban sw6d propane heater. The igniter did not ignite a spark. I first tried changing the lighter but it didn't help. Then I replaced the circuit board and it works again! Update: The new board failed after about 7 months. In those 7 months I was only able to turn on the water heater 20 times. These boards appear to be defective. It took a long time to light the water heater. It then ignited but shut off the…

Fixed intermittent flame issue

I have a retractable RV with a water heater. The igniter has become increasingly unreliable in recent trips. Eventually, even though the propane turns on, the igniter will not fire. I traced the ignition wire to the water heater electronics board. The resistor was brown/blackened next to the ignition coil. I don't know how the resistor failed, but it looks like that's the only part that clearly failed. I installed a new circuit board and the water heater is running again. I am hoping to find a…
