After using the Microsoft Sidewinder X6 Keyboard for 11 years (which is still functioning well), there was a recurring desire to explore "what's new on the market?" As a consequence of this, it was necessary to structure the workplace around the MacBook Pro. Although everything works flawlessly on Windows, the previous keyboard's F-keys did not work in MacOS, which is an operating system that I frequently need to work with. However, everything works perfectly on Windows. Yes, and it's a fairly aggravating nuisance to have to repeatedly jab the wire between a stationary PC and a USB hub twice a day. As a result, it was determined to search for a universal wireless solution, which ultimately led to the discovery of this keyboard. After devoting a significant amount of time to reading the customer reviews, I realized that this product offers a middle ground answer. On the other hand, there was no longer any urge to lean over a laptop, so they took MX Keys instead. Docking with a stationary PC on Windows with the Unify adapter does not result in any issues because the relevant software is automatically installed. Because it didn't function out of the box as indicated in the instructions, you had to hold down the search button in addition to turning on the device in order to successfully connect through Bluetooth to MacOS. This makes the process more complicated than it should be. In addition, I brought an MX Anywhere 3 mouse with me, and that mouse works on the same Unify adapter as a keyboard (albeit it can become unresponsive at times, but the keyboard works without a hitch). Both devices are able to function normally when communicating with one another over Bluetooth. According to the comments, switching between mouse and keyboard devices "by one button" works properly only with the MX Master 3 mouse. With my mouse, you need to switch between mouse and keyboard devices individually, but it is not a difficult process. Because I don't use the backlight, it took roughly a third of the battery charge to get through a month of work without it. It's not great for gaming (especially when compared to a gaming keyboard), and it's more of a tool for work. However, the recesses make the space more comfortable. A purchase that is recommended in general. It would be absolutely ideal if we could still use the ANSI version of the software.
