I somehow decided and bought this lens. I know both 1.8 and 1.2. And I must say that it is certainly sharper and faster than these two. And I compared the picture for a long time and realized that 1.2 is not better at all in terms of bokeh and picture, but in 1.4 the stub decides, and the speed and accuracy of autofocus is super. Lens is great: - perfectly conveys space, - sharp at 1.4, - magical bokeh. - ideal for portraits - beautiful serial number If you choose between 85 1.4 and 85 1.2, then this one is definitely better. From the picture they are identical, I compared several times. And in terms of speed, sharpness, convenience, this one is better. There is multi-layer modern enlightenment here, therefore, in terms of aperture ratio, it is no worse than 1.2. The stabilizer allows you to take pictures at a shutter speed of 1/40, which is an indisputable advantage for me. For example, here you can easily take a picture of a person at a shutter speed of 1/80. And at 85 1.2 without a stub, you need to set at least 1/170, then the entire aperture is lost. Sigma generally smears focus on canons
