I bought these for my 11 year old son. He loves swimming in his grandmother's pool, but every time he comes home with scratched and bloody toes. (The floor of public pools is often intentionally left rough to provide a better grip, but it's rough for small children's feet.) After several visits to my grandmother's, I realized that we needed some kind of protection so that we could swim, without crying These sea green socks were the PERFECT solution. My son is a size 3.5 so I bought the small size first according to the size description - BIG MISTAKE! These measurements are completely wrong! My son couldn't even get his foot in a sock! I ended up having to return the first pair and exchanged for a medium size which fit much better and worked great. Now my son can swim freely in the pool for hours without scratching his feet. Finding the right size is a great solution for uneven bottom pools.
