I bought two of these cables to create a switching network for sharing a two-monitor installation with two computers (stationary and laptop). One of the cables was clearly damaged. he worked intermittently. Tried on both computers. You can move the cable a certain way and it will fail. The other of the two I bought works perfectly. Update: Got a replacement for a broken cable and bought another one. The replacement cable works perfectly.
