I cant say that I was completely satisfied with the product.

not for connecting a curling iron or an xbox to a monitor, but I don’t advise it for a computer, at high purity signal transmission via HDMI there is a strong heating when overheating starts to slow down the image. read on other sites, people have the same problems. According to this conclusion, if you want to use an old monitor in combination with a DVD player or set-top box, this device will suit you, but don't count on much. :)

  • the case is very "hot" (I opened it in order to somehow establish cooling, I was surprised and disappointed at the same time, but only one microcircuit is involved in signal conversion, and it does not have any cooling or radiator, it heats like an iron), in view of the high temperatures at increased load prompt failure expect .

Ideal for HDMI to VGA connections.

The cable works perfectly. We hooked it up to my son's school laptop and an old Dell monitor that only had a VGA port and it works great. Good resolution and easy to use. Highly recommended if you are using a computer to connect a monitor that requires an HDMI to VGA connection.

Necessary! in Computer Accessories & Peripherals

I broke my laptop screen and was desperately trying to connect it to an external monitor to finish my work. I needed an HDMI cable and turned to Revain to find one. This cable arrived quickly and it took me about 30 seconds to plug it in and get back to work. It seems to be of good quality and is the perfect length for me to store my laptop and external monitor on my desk. I highly recommend this cable.

Perfect for expanding your laptop display!

I bought this cable hoping to upgrade my desktop display to an old Dell monitor I got so I can easily compare documents without printing them out. Easy to connect, long cable and after initial panic over the wrong size of the display it did exactly what I needed. I asked a question while looking at this cable and got an answer very quickly. I recommend this cord.

One cable worked, the other didn't.

I bought two of these cables to create a switching network for sharing a two-monitor installation with two computers (stationary and laptop). One of the cables was clearly damaged. he worked intermittently. Tried on both computers. You can move the cable a certain way and it will fail. The other of the two I bought works perfectly. Update: Got a replacement for a broken cable and bought another one. The replacement cable works perfectly.

They didn't work in computer accessories and peripherals

when I got them the screws on the VGA side were missing and my monitor couldn't accommodate an extra computer monitor after plugging it in, I've tried my TV that has both VGA as well as HDMI and still wouldn't catch it. I ended up having to buy a dongle that converts HDMI to VGA and it worked great. Whilst this item may have been defective I would not recommend it as I need it for work from home and had to wait a few days for delivery as it was not considered 'essential'.
