My least favorite of the watercolor confectionery palettes for a number of reasons. First, the colors are very similar. The magic of watercolor confectionery palettes is that each coordinating color group appears very full in different tones and shades, giving you light and dark shades and skewing very strongly towards warm and cool. Everyone. There are no flickering lights. Everything is very orange. No dark tones, no cool cool tones. Secondly, the colors are activated for a long time. And a few of them aren't very saturated at all. Therefore, unlike other carefully chosen palettes, you are unlikely to create a piece using only these colors. But I definitely see them working as accents. This set is for complete gamers or those who occasionally need a sparkling accent, but most people can do without it. Be sure to purchase another of the curated palettes first.
