In my kitchen there are different pans from different brands. Some of them are very good while others are quite old and in dire need of replacement. I ordered this 11 piece set from Rachel Ray to give me an excuse to get rid of my old skillets. Most cookware sets include either all stainless steel pans or all non-stick pans, but this set is a combination of both. This makes more sense to me as some dishes cook better in nonstick pans while others cook better in stainless steel pans. With this set you get 3 non-stick pans: 8.5" pan, 10" pan and 12.5" pan (this one has a glass lid). The 12.5 inch pan also has handles on both sides for easy carrying when full. You will receive these 3 stainless steel pots: a 1.5 liter pot, a 3 liter pot and a 6 liter pot. All stainless steel pots come with a lid. Finally, a steamer is included, which can be used to steam vegetables or other foods in a pot. This set really gives you everything you need to cook almost any dish you can imagine. And the quality of each pan is excellent. This set makes a great wedding gift for a young couple starting a new family. Or if you want to replace everything in your kitchen, this is perfect. I hope these pans will last for many years.
