I have bought this product many times, more than 20 times and have never been disappointed. I bought it in advance so I can have it when I need it. I've always been happy with them in the past and they've held up well. This time when I ran out of ink the replacement didn't work. That's a few months outside of the return window, of course. Never had problems in the past. Granted, you can get a bad Apple in any product, but I would caution against buying too far in advance. The reason I said the quality has gone down in my title. Apparently there have been some bad reviews lately
