Review on 🚣 Thule 896000 DockGlide: The Ultimate Kayak Docking System for Easy & Safe Storage by Eddie Breezy

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Secure attachment but too much play in the front hinges

I used the rail mount option to attach it to the cross members on my Kia and it worked great. The back pads are smooth enough for the kayak to slide easily forward into position. Very durable when standing. The straps are good and I like that they have loop straps too. My only complaint is that the front mounts open too wide for some reason. Sometimes I have to wrestle the kayak from the back of the roof to try and get the front mounts to roll to the correct interior angle. I'm not sure if this is a design feature I've overlooked or an unintentional mistake. I see no need for them to open up that wide.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
