I am not sure if this product has changed or the reviews are not genuine. The product sold is advertised as a stainless steel product. However, the item I received is clearly marked "Zinc Alloy" on the packaging. Zinc products are much cheaper to produce and not as durable. While zinc is generally considered food safe, it is known to be food hazardous when used in contact with acidic foods or the environment. As you can imagine, lemons and limes are quite acidic. I would avoid this product and look for an alternative.
