Snow in Texas! - Fake snow
My son wanted snow for Christmas and we live in Texas. It was the closest we could get and it was a hit! It was 80 degrees and the kids were wearing shorts but they didn't care and didn't know the difference. It was easy to mistake (used a large lidded box), didn't smell funny, was non-toxic, and looked like real snow (at least that's what my Texan kids think). They threw it, made snowballs by adding water, lay in it and had fun for hours. The best Christmas present!
