Review on Warrior Alpaca Socks Comfort Black by Dawson Schmidt

Bought as a gift. I expected average women to be shorter than average men. They are actually the same size - a different size than the standard size here in the US. It's VERY important to check the sizes - the sizes weren't listed when I originally bought them, they would be more of a typical men's small here in the US. Men's sizing should be increased 1 size up using this company sizing - compared to US men's sizing. I usually buy medium size mens clothes, but here I need to buy large size mens clothes for my wife. So I downgraded the rating from 5 to 4 stars. - I can and will wear these, but I have to buy others to replace the ones that don't fit my partner. Their softness and warmth in the cold, even when wet, and comfort on warm days make them a bargain. These alpaca socks are not itchy at all and I am very sensitive to them (wool allergy) - higher micron alpacas can be itchy so should be medium to fine; they wear well too. 3/6: I reordered a size up for my partner. The medium has done me good. Oversized socks are great, soft and comfortable socks for women with large feet over 9.5cm or men with medium sized feet - be sure to check their sizing, which is about one size smaller than US norm. They don't itch or smell - they seem to absorb moisture and dry out. They keep you warm in the cold but don't feel too warm when it's warm in there, which is great. Also made in the USA and not that expensive. All around a great offer. We washed them in cold water and air dried them or in a cool dryer. They stayed up well, at least they seem to be softer - no problem after a few wears.
