Will not fit all brakes SRAM Guide R/RS

I've had problems with my front brake all summer slowly returning/sticking. After reading many threads online about this issue, I decided to buy this kit and fix it myself (I was tired of taking my bike to the store for warranty items). I started with the rear brake and as other reviews have mentioned, I found that the piston was too long for my brakes after I managed to get the locking ring out (which hurt a lot). Based on what other reviews have said I used a band saw to trim the front and then buffed and deburred the cut. Put the plunger back in place and everything will work fine. I'm undercutting another piston I bought at the same time assuming my front brake would be the same. Unfortunately, upon opening it, I found that the OEM piston is the same length as the product I'm reviewing. I shouldn't have cut it at all, but it was too late to put the material back on. I installed a cut aluminum piston, bled the brakes and was fine for a couple of rides. And yesterday, sitting motionless on a bike, I squeezed the lever and felt something inside "give” and suddenly the lever pulled all the way to the bar. I opened the lever again and pulled the aluminum piston out to find that one of the seals had come loose (maybe because I was undercutting the piston but shouldn't) and let the fluid through. Bleeding the brakes again didn't fix anything so I put the original piston back in and bled again. So now I've spent $35 on those pistons and DOT grease, bled the brakes a few times, and pulled out that stupid snap ring. heaps and I'm back where I started. The total effort is probably about 3 hours. The rear brake has a new piston, but there were no binding issues from the start. The front brake has the original sticky piston inside. Ultimately, this issue is SRAM's fault, but this product should make it clear which serial numbers match this piston. There are only 4 reviews so far, 2 of which mention the need to shorten the pistons. This may solve the heat adhesion issue (couldn't be fully tested), but be aware that it doesn't. Suitable for all SRAM Guide R/RS brakes as listed.
