I use this material so often

The method I use to install shelving (all types including keyhole mount) is based on this material and with it I can do things to within 1/128th of an inch on the place wall. All I need is a spirit level, this masking tape, and a pencil (well, usually also a drill and a screwdriver, but never mind that I can position really accurately with this tape). The secret is to press the straight edge of the strip of this material into a flat position. Then remove the item from the wall and tape the back of the item in place, noting the edges and screw locations. Then remove the tape from the item and stick it on the wall. If I didn't have this bond, my life would be much more difficult. Here are 3 more tips for using this tape: 1. Apply the strip to the wall, folded into a makeshift dust bag, under your location. drill to collect all the drywall dust that falls out during drilling2. something on the drill to tell you when to stop drilling (indicates the desired depth when the tape on the drill touches the wall)3. If you only have one layer of matte paint on the wall, apply the tape to your shirt or pants first to avoid snagging. That wasn't a problem with this tape, I just wanted to mention it as a general tip for working with masking tape.
