I bought this inexpensive car reader to be ready before I drive my car to the shop to see what's going on. This scanner is very easy to use. Just connect to the OBD which is located under the steering column and it will do the rest. It will read your car computer and tell you what the code is and what it means. This is not only useful for training before shopping, but also when buying a used car, since the codes are stored. The only problem I have is that it asks if you want to remove the code and it doesn't work with all codes. Otherwise it works as promised.
