It depends on what you cut
It seems to work. Must be a little sharper. I needed it to cut a screen protector and it went through two of the three layers (the protective film and one of the two layers of the very thin screen protector). I tried it on a piece of leather and it cut through the thickness of the suede, but not all the way through anything thicker than 1/8 inch.
