Review on Intel G3258 Pentium Processor BX80646G3258 by Michal Wjcik ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

An ideal product for any type of consumer.

I jumped right in and took the G3258 exam. Yes, it functions well, but rising energy use and heat dissipation are not marvels. However, it's plenty without overclocking; I disabled "records for show" in favor of turbo boost (as was done in older models; the result is excellent presently). If you want trouble-free RAM for your drives, set the Kingstons to 2400. Integrated graphics produced an excellent image. How I demonstrated the GMA900 is still fresh in my mind. - the built-in graphics aren't exactly going to blow your mind in terms of performance (something in the 9600GT range, if you're old enough to remember that))) The video core, however, speeds up as well. - VID = 12022V, they say the whole early batch is like that; I don't think it's a minus; what's the difference if it maintains 800MHz 99.9 percent of the time and the voltage is around 0.7V? Setting 1.3-1.4V is still required for extreme overclocking. Cold, but not overclocked: HWMonitor reports 37 watts (out of 53 stated) when operating at 45-48 degrees with 100% continuous load while using Arctic 11 Pro. As a whole, the percentage is quite successful, and once the price normalizes, it will be the best of its kind. However, if you need it immediately, keep in mind that the motherboard manufacturers have only just released the bios for it, and it's quite unlikely that any motherboard sold in a store will be able to grasp such a percentage right away. Bios can be sewn on the spot in certain places, sent to a repair center in others, or sent altogether in still others. But maybe it's for the best. It's not necessarily miraculous, but it does occur.

Pros
  • Largely discounted budget stone
Cons
  • He picked up the initial offering, but was unsatisfied with the cost. Everything should be ok now.

Got pros: Excellent overclocking potential. Good cache. Power. Different cons: 2 cores, but what power they have.
