This ingenious attachment system for attaching grab bars in the shower or bathroom is a life saver for our elderly family members. Typically handrail installation requires a lot of work removing/damaging existing tile or other surface to find pins for safe handrail installation. This great design allows someone to install them without damaging tiles or other surfaces and still be secure. and stability of the connection with the studs. Having never seen such a design before, I asked our builder to watch a 10 minute Moen Securemount video on YouTube. Then I installed it with no problems. He was amazed at how easy the installation was and how strong the handrails were when fitted with the Securemount. In fact, he said he wouldn't install any other handrails WITHOUT using this clever system. We are more than satisfied. The handrails have been there for over a year and are absolutely stable, without any problems. And the beautiful wall tiles are just as perfect as they were before installation. Three years later, we appreciate them even more. Our hardened Moen railings stay strong, look great and much of the installation success (without damaging the existing tile) is directly attributable to this ingenious installation system called Securemount. Our installer, who had never used the system before, installed it with no problems after watching a short online tutorial video. Clever. Strong. Secure. Brilliant!
