I remember Bristle Blocks when my kids were little. I wanted a construction toy that would hold together when carried around and something that teething children could chew on and wouldn't injure too much if stepped on. They have met these requirements. The jungle animals were a big hit too! We removed a few small pieces so a one-year-old who's teething won't put them in his mouth. A 2.5-year-old child likes to build kits with the help of adults. Some parts are difficult to assemble safely, but I think it gets easier with use. Adults and children played with them for a long time. I buy 2 sets. A jungle set and a base set, so there were enough parts to make more prefabs. A+
