I was very nervous before going to Europe because I wanted to make sure I had the right connectors for my electronics so after much deliberation I decided to buy this unit and, Boy am I happy. It worked great for Madrid, Rome, London, Paris and Dublin. Now I recommend buying this adapter AND an extension cord, although the adapter has 4 USB ports they are very slow so having an extension cord should take care of that. I have also taken precautions to ensure that my devices do not exceed 2000 watts. I think I only/mainly used it for 2 phones and 2 power banks. We used the adapter directly with a 1800W travel hair dryer without any problems. I think my girlfriend used the iron for mini trips with no problem as well. Remember hair dryers and irons come with adapters directly, not with extension cords. Overall I really liked it and will keep it safe for my future trips in Europe.
