Review on 🍡 Sandalwood-Handled Pottery Tea Infuser by Abdullah Huan

I burned myself with it. I wouldn't give it away, but I left it anyway.

Let me tell you about my horrible experience and why I kept the mug anyway. Maybe I made a big mistake because I'm new to the cup of tea. The product appears to be cast iron all around, which is cool and masculine, but that's why you can only hold the cup by the handle when brewing and it's too hot everywhere. So as I sat down on my sofa and picked up the mug by the handle, I decided the tea was ready and attempted to remove the lid and teapot at the same time to place it in another mug on the side table nearby . me. What happened is that the cast iron "feel" around the brewer was so hot while I was holding it and allowing the water from it to flow back into the cup that I had to put it back in because I couldn't hold it anymore could the hot metal, and I didn't think I added that much water, but when I put the tea strainer back in place, the water didn't come back into the tea strainer properly, causing it to overflow the rim of the cup and fall off everywhere . hot tea on pajama shorts, on the thigh. I got up quickly and went to dip my foot in cold water to stop the burning. Long story short, I had severe burns for a couple of weeks with a large patch on my leg, and I've been using Neosporin and a huge patch for a couple of weeks to keep it from scratching my pants. Bottom line, the mug doesn't have many safety features, so you're on your own with it, there weren't any instructions or safety guidelines included. It's impossible to remove the lid and strainer without burning yourself, so you'll want to do this with a towel, which is a bit awkward for a teacup with a strainer and should make the process easier. I don't pour water out of a hot pot in the 18th century. I was also hoping, from the pictures here, that it kind of snapped and kind of clicked to lock the lid and brew in the cup, but if you move the cup around with the lid and/or brewer inside, you'll feel it. as if you hold a small tea plate with a cup of tea on it, it wobbles. Initially I was so upset and offended by the accident that I wanted to return it the next day but decided to keep it for myself because it's a very nice cup of tea and I had trouble finding a simple brewing cup. without the floral patterns around it here on amazon and I would like it to be a bit taller/bigger for visual purposes. You can drink 4 to 6 ounces of the drink, which is just about enough for me. I can also prepare other drinks in it, such as coffee or iced drinks. Many of my colleagues praise it, the truth is that no cup costs anything $30, at least I haven't seen any. This mug should cost about $10.99. Without the lid and infuser, it feels strong. The inside of the mug is painted light blue, which suits me, but I'd prefer black or white. I wouldn't want to give this as a gift because I'd be afraid someone would make the same mistake I did and get burned for my gift. The tea will get very hot, but you have to be careful not to hold it in the wrong places. I would only use the infusion next to the sink to avoid accidents around you and/or around your house.
