This camera is amazing! I have a 2013 Kia Optima. I love my car but it has a blind spot in the back where I can't see anything less than a meter. These are small children and animals, and with a camera - no problem! Installation was pretty easy. The camera unit itself is easy to install. Simply remove the top 2 screws from the license plate, install the camera and screw the screws back in place. The mirror just snaps into place! It's a little bigger than my original mirror, but nothing impractical. The wiring was a bit more difficult. Luckily my husband is very comfortable. I think the biggest problem in general was hiding the wires. It's not because of the product, it's because of the layout of newer cars. Overall, it took us almost all day to install everything. After the installation you have to adjust the settings! Eventually you will find a middle ground that will allow you to see clearly. One problem with all of this is that it can be difficult to see the screen when it's glaring. You need to dim the screen to see better.
