My bearded dragon ate them straight away. I soak them in warm water to get a good temperature before feeding. They smell a bit but I'm sure that's normal and my kite didn't care if they got wet or not. After opening, keep in the fridge and use up relatively quickly. They will go bad even in the fridge for about a week. They start to get moldy and smell TERRIBLE compared to when they were first opened. So be careful not to feed them to your reptile. When this happens you will most likely know because I choked on it lol
